In September 2024, Boorrumpah Goupong Aboriginal Corporation brought community members together at Waterfall Creek Reserve for a camp focused on culture, connection and wellbeing.
Surrounded by the natural environment, participants had the opportunity to spend time on Country, strengthen relationships and take part in a variety of outdoor and cultural activities. The camp provided a welcoming space where people of all ages could connect, share experiences and build lasting friendships while learning from one another.
Through programs like this, BGAC continues to create culturally safe spaces that support social and emotional wellbeing, strengthen cultural identity and foster a strong sense of belonging within the community.
